The Birth Without Fear meet-up is coming to Minneapolis, which I’ll be capturing along with two other talented ladies I am lucky to call friends (Megan Crown Photography and Jennifer Liv Photography), we’re celebrating with a giveaway!

All three of us are giving away two Basic tickets to the Birth Without Fear meet-up, and you can enter by following along on what we’re calling Birth Week: a full week of blog posts celebrating births we’ve captured. You can gain multiple entries to the contest by heading to the blog every day this week and following the instructions at the bottom of the post to enter!

You can see their posts, and enter their contests here and here.

This mama is so inspiring to me. I met her through Minnesota Birth Photographers, and she is a photographer herself. She became passionate about photography after her third child, Franklin, was stillborn in 2012. No one from Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep was available to photograph her little one and she became inspired to increase her skills so she could volunteer for the organization and give that gift to others.

So when she asked me to be there to photograph the birth of her rainbow baby (baby born after a loss), I was gleeful — happy this little one was on his way and so honored to be there to witnesses this amazing moment for this family.

Mack was born via a beautiful gentle c-section and was quickly placed right on his mama’s chest. And that moment, my friends, was full of uncountable blessings. <3
